Rory qualified from Ulster University in 2019, with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy. He also has a BSc Hons degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Ulster University. He has been working as a Sports Massage Therapist whilst completing his Physiotherapy degree and has gained skills from this work, which will benefit his Physiotherapy career. Since joining The Physio Group, he has furthered his knowledge through the completion of the Musculoskeletal Training program focusing on skilled manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue massage, spinal mobilisations, taping techniques, rehabilitation and exercise, whilst also gaining further understanding of the theory behind soft tissue injuries.
Rory is a keen sportsman and has played both soccer and Gaelic football to a high level. He has had trials with a number of professional soccer teams in England and Wales, following his appearance in the Milk Cup representing County Down. In Gaelic he has represented Down GAA minors and u21s and is currently the captain of his club Saul GAC.
