The Physio Group – Belfast is now one of the leading Physiotherapy clinics in Belfast City Centre. Located in Alexander House on Ormeau Avenue right between the Limelight and Katy Daly’s. It is a purpose built premises designed to cater for the needs of all our Belfast city centre clients.

We have 4 spacious treatment rooms, a waiting area and an open space where we run our weekly PILATES classes or to conduct our Sports injury REHABILITATION .

There is ample parking on street locally or in several car parks in close proximity. We are only  5-10 minute walk from nearby train stations.

Due to being a city centre physiotherapy clinic we offer hours to suit our clients which is made predominantly of office workers. We have early morning appointments starting from 7:20am, lunchtime appointments and we offer one late evening currently on a Monday night.

The building has an attendant at the front door who allows entry from 7:15am till 5:30. Anyone attending after should call our main office on 02890897554 if the door is locked.

We cater in our Belfast clinic for a mixture of ailments. From OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH issues such as spinal pain as a result of ergonomic issues in the workplace to SPORTS MEDICINE complaints, ranging from elite competitors to casual gym users. Our aim is to provide all clients with an injury diagnosis, plan of recovery and an individualised exercise regime to aid their recovery.

Can I use my Private Health Insurance for my Physiotherapy treatment in the Belfast Clinic?

Yes, we are registered with all major insurance companies such as; Bupa, WPA, Aviva, Axa, Benenden and Simply Health. We are also registered with all major insurance intermediary companies which represent many of these insurance companies such as; Nuffield Health, Rehab Works and HCML / Episource.

Each insurance company has a different protocol for referral to physiotherapy, some require GP referral others telephone triage. For any queries regarding the process of accessing your insurance to attend our Belfast City Centre practice please call our main office on 02890897554, our office staff can also provide you with our provider numbers if needed.

Do you accept card payment?

Yes we have card payment facilities and we also accept bank transfers as well as cash or cheques. If you have health insurance we offer a credit facility as we invoice the insurance company directly.

Do you offer onsite physiotherapy or work station / visual display unit assessments?

Yes, currently we have contracts for our physiotherapists to provide clinics within business, this has been proven to reduce time off work with musculoskeletal disorders.

We also offer a facility of attending on site to assess a clients work space to ensure proper ergonomics in the workplace. These assessments are followed up with written feedback and recommendations.

What are your Belfast City Centre opening hours?

Currently we provide physiotherapy clinics :

Monday – 7:20am till 7:40pm

Tuesday – 8am till 5:40pm

Wednesday – 8am till 5:40pm

Thursday – 8am till 5:40pm

Friday – 7:20am till 5:40pm

How long does a treatment session last?

Each treatment session whether initial assessment or review lasts up to 40minutes.
