Golfer’s Elbow
Golfer’s elbow (medial elbow pain) involves irritation of the tendons on the inner side of the elbow and is commonly associated with repetitive gripping, lifting, or sporting activities.
Symptoms include tenderness along the inner elbow, reduced grip strength, and pain during wrist or forearm movement. Despite its name, the condition frequently affects gym users, manual workers, and office-based individuals.
At The Physio Group, physiotherapy begins with a detailed assessment to identify contributing factors such as overload, muscle imbalance, or technique issues. Treatment may include manual therapy, progressive strengthening, and guided load management strategies.
Following our Reduce, Restore, Return approach, rehabilitation focuses on reducing pain, restoring strength and endurance, and enabling a confident return to normal activity while minimising recurrence.
