Rotator Cuff Injuries
Rotator cuff injuries involve irritation or weakness of the muscles and tendons that stabilise and move the shoulder. These injuries commonly occur with repetitive overhead activity, gym training, throwing sports, or age-related tendon changes.
Symptoms often include pain when lifting the arm, weakness, night pain, or difficulty performing overhead movements. At The Physio Group, we provide detailed assessment to determine whether symptoms relate to tendon overload, impingement, or muscle imbalance.
Treatment focuses on restoring shoulder control and strength rather than prolonged rest. Rehabilitation may include targeted strengthening exercises, movement retraining, manual therapy, and gradual return to activity.
Following our Reduce, Restore, Return model, we aim to reduce pain, restore shoulder stability and function, and support a safe return to work, sport, and exercise with improved resilience.
