Helping reduce pain and rebuild strength for everyday movement.

Charlotte Woods

Clinical Interests:

Charlotte qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Manchester Metropolitan University in July 2024, graduating with First Class Honours. During her studies, she also completed a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy, supporting her strong hands-on treatment approach.

Charlotte gained valuable early clinical experience as a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist within the South Eastern Trust, where she spent eight months working across a variety of specialties, further developing her assessment, clinical reasoning, and rehabilitation skills.

She joined The Physio Group in September 2025 and has since completed additional training focused on the assessment and management of spinal conditions, including joint mobilisation techniques, movement assessment, and progressive exercise prescription. She has also completed the Mulligan Concept course, further enhancing her manual therapy skills and evidence-based treatment approach.

Charlotte has a keen interest in sports injury rehabilitation and combines manual therapy with structured rehabilitation programmes to help patients return confidently to sport, work, and everyday activity.

Outside of work, Charlotte currently plays Gaelic football and enjoys Hyrox training and Pilates. Having previously played rugby, she brings a strong practical understanding of sporting demands and injury recovery to her clinical practice.
