Frank qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2000 from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. Following graduation, he moved to the North East of England where he worked with private musculoskeletal physiotherapy company CONNECT PHC, delivering physiotherapy and occupational health services to major organisations including Black & Decker, Nike, Rolls Royce, the University of Newcastle Sports Injury Clinic, North East England Rugby squads, the North East Gymnastics Academy, and Durham County Cricket Club.
Between 2002 and 2005, Frank worked with Sunderland A.F.C., supporting the first team during both Premier League and Championship seasons. During this time, he treated a number of international footballers including Niall Quinn, Jason McAteer, Phil Babb and Kevin Kilbane (Ireland), Claudio Reyna (USA captain), and Kevin Phillips (England).
Originally from Newry, Frank returned home in 2005 to co-found The Physio Group alongside Kieran Murray, developing the clinic into a leading musculoskeletal and sports injury service supporting the local community and surrounding areas.
Alongside clinic development, Frank worked extensively within Gaelic games, supporting Down GAA at Senior, U21 and Minor levels, including the All-Ireland winning Minor team in 2005. He also worked with several successful school teams including Abbey CBS and St Colman’s College Hogan Cup squads.
A clinical specialist in Manual Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Frank has completed extensive postgraduate training in joint and soft tissue mobilisation, manipulation, and rehabilitation. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine (ACPSM).
